30 August 2026 — Multilingual underground club-pop duo Paris Lombard and Monika Lehmann, performing together as Paris & Berlin, have released the official YouTube visualizer for “Berliner,” the lead track from their forthcoming album Extremity, scheduled for release on CD and streaming platforms on October 1 2026. The song serves as an introduction to the duo’s distinctive blend of Euro-Pop, Art-Pop, and Electronica, drawing inspiration from the after-hours cultures and contradictions of Paris and Berlin.
The release arrives alongside another significant independent pop announcement. Singer-songwriter Demitra Kalnina has also debuted the YouTube visualizer for “Peaches,” the opening track from her forthcoming album Twentynine Palms, which shares the same 1 October 1 release date.
Introducing Extremity
Paris & Berlin consists of Paris Lombard and Monika Lehmann, a multilingual creative partnership inspired by the nightlife, architecture, romance, and tension of two of Europe’s most iconic cities. Their music moves between English, French, and German, combining underground club textures with sophisticated pop songwriting.
“Berliner” introduces listeners to the world of Extremity through nocturnal imagery, pulsing synth atmospheres, and themes of identity, desire, transformation, and belonging within Berlin’s nightlife culture. The song's refrain, “Call me Berliner when the beat goes bare,” captures the album’s fascination with urban reinvention and emotional escape.

Demitra Kalnina Opens the Door to Twentynine Palms
Released recently, “Peaches” offers the first glimpse into Twentynine Palms, a deeply atmospheric Art-Pop project from Demitra Kalnina. The song uses recurring peach imagery and haunting domestic detail to explore memory, loss, and emotional decay, setting the tone for an album steeped in psychological storytelling and Americana noir.
