1 October 2026 — The international euro-pop and club inspired electronic duo Paris & Berlin, comprised of Monika Lehmann and Paris Lombard, today announce the wide release of their new album, Extremity, available now on CD and all major streaming platforms.
Extremity is an ambitious, multilingual work that moves between English, French, and German, exploring themes of identity, ambition, desire, isolation, transformation, and modern urban life. Across its expansive track list, the album captures the contrasting spirits of Berlin and Paris while examining the emotional and psychological landscapes that emerge within contemporary culture.
Featuring songs including "Berliner," "Parisian," "Ecstasy," "Entrapment," and "Together," Extremity presents a cinematic blend of nighttime euro-pop, electronic nightclub atmospheres, philosophical lyricism, and continental influences.
Throughout the album, Paris & Berlin weave stories of aspiration and disillusionment, freedom and restraint, intimacy and distance, creating a body of work that is both introspective and expansive. The project's multilingual approach reflects the duo's artistic identity and the cultural interplay at the heart of the album.
"Extremity is an album about reaching the outer limits of experience, identity, love, ambition, and self-discovery," say Paris & Berlin. "These songs live between cities, languages, contradictions, and dreams. We're thrilled to finally share them with listeners around the world."
Deluxe Edition
A deluxe version of their album, elegantly titled Extrémité: Le Point le Plus Lointain, is also available, featuring three exclusive bonus tracks, including two of which are reinterpretations of highly popular songs from artists Kataya Bielová and Marjorie Valentine.
"L'Éternelle Dérive" by Paris Lombard reinterprets Bielová's "Everlasting" in French, while Monika Lehmann provides new dimensions to Marjorie Valentine's hit classic "Black Swan" with the aptly titled "Schwarzer Schwan". "Free" is the third exclusive song from the deluxe edition, featuring both Paris & Berlin musicians in their first all-English composition.
